I. All sales are final unless otherwise stated. Returns will be accepted if the product arrives damaged or is defective, only if you first call or email and request a Return Authorization. If the item is damaged upon receipt or defective then a repair will be made. If an item is unable to repaired, a replacement item or a merchandise credit will be offered. Any item which shows signs of wear and tear will not be considered to be damaged or defective. Any item which is damaged upon receipt must be reported to us on the same day or next business day after delivery.
II. Once an item is charged to your credit card, the sale is considered “complete” for the purposes of returns. If you cancel after this point, Ackerman Jewelers reserves the right to charge any fees associated with the handling of this transaction, up to the retail price of the item. Please do not complete your order online if you have any remaining questions- please call or email us and we will answer you, generally within one business day.
III. Ackerman Jewelers reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% for any product which is returned to us for any reason.
IV. If you receive an item which needs some sort of adjustment (ring sizing, chain shortening, etc.), please call or email us for a Return Authorization. You will be responsible for cost of shipping to get the item to us, but we will make most adjustments at no charge to you (if there is a cost, we will advise you at the time we are issuing the Return Authorization) and will ship the item back to you at no charge.
V. Ackerman Jewelers believes that the care of your jewelry item is important to your long-term enjoyment of it. As such, we always take care of the basic maintenance of your jewelry item for you. This includes, but is not limited to, polishing, cleaning, rhodium plating, gemstone tightening, and some limited replacement of minor lost gemstones. This statement does not make any guarantees that any service will be completed without charge. Ackerman Jewelers reserves the right to declare that any item is not covered under these terms
VI. Any item being sent back without a Return Authorization will be subject to a handling charge of $25.
